EV charging point owners

We've lost an access card, what do we do?

Report it lost via the portal login or via our customer support team. The card will then be blocked.

Do Park & Recharge provide charging cables?

No, however we can place you in contact with a recommended supplier. Normally however the electric vehicle owner will have their own cable.

Is graffiti or user damage covered by my warranty?

Unfortunately cosmetic rectification works are not covered by your warranty. Should your charging points be damaged in this way please contact our customer support team and they will quote you for the repair.

We have other charging points at different locations, can these be added to Park & Recharge?

Our management system supports ABB, ABL, CirControl eVolt, DBT Delta, EBG Compleo, Efacec, Etrel, EC Charging, Mennekes and Schneider EV Link range. As the post owner just let your current CPMS provider know that you wish to change providers and we will sort out the rest.

EV charging point users

How much does it cost per unit (kWH) of electricity?

The tariff for charging points is set by the charge point owner. Once registered on the app and you have selected a charger, you can view the cost per kW for each device. This typically ranges from 15-35p per kW.

What happens when my battery is full if I don't tell the app to stop charging? Does it continue to cost?

Once your battery is full, your vehicle will stop charging however your cable will remain locked until you release this via an RFID card or app.

If the charge point owner has set the tariff to charge by the kW rather than time connected it will not continue to cost if you are plugged in once your battery is full or stops charging. However we do advise users disconnect their vehicles at 90% state of charge to free up workplace chargers for other EV drivers.

What happens if the charge is stopped, but the car is left plugged in? Does it continue to cost?

If the charge is stopped your cable will remain locked until you release this via an RFID card or app. If the charge point owner has set the tariff to charge by the kW rather than time connected it will not continue to cost if you are plugged in but not charging. However we do advise users disconnect their vehicles at 90% state of charge to free up workplace chargers for other EV drivers.
